What Pastor's have to say about Mile by Mile...

Pastor Jerry Gibson, Parker's Chapel Baptist Church, Florence, Alabama

"We invited the Barney's to come and be a set of helping hands for our annual "March On" Preacher's meeting at our small country church in Florence, AL.  This last year we had almost doubled our guest list and knew the labor was going to exceed our laborers! The Barney's were the perfect addition!  They were a tremendous blessing!  They saw what needed done and did it! They had no problem working behind the scenes as well as worked well beside our church people.  In fact, several of our people have said what a blessing they were to work with.  My wife and I were able to spend time and fellowship with our guests rather than worrying about the work load.  In regards to their help, my wife laid down at night restful and in peace, saying, "They are wonderful!" Not only were they a help physically, but spiritually as well.  They responded to the preaching and were some of the first ones at the altar! A few weeks in advance, they asked for our prayer list of Preachers so they could be praying for each name on that list and it was evident they did.  They both have a sweet spirit and a servant's heart.  We did take a love offering for them, however, they brought their motor home and were willing to come at little or no expense to our church.  Without hesitation, we welcome them back to our meeting every year and highly recommend them to anyone considering having them to their church."
